Québec en Clichés

Here's a catalog the Association of Illustrators from Quebec produced this year to share the work of some of its members. The theme was the clichés people often associate with Quebec. Mine was "skidoo", which is a mix between a sled and a jet ski, created here to help Quebeckers face all the snow we have here. Take a look at a pdf for the entire book. Also, this book was directed for the children's publishing market.

And those are different clichés from other illustrators that I like a lot:

 Raton Laveur by Christine Battuz

 Ruelle by Josée Bisaillon

 Ours Polaire by Annick Gaudreault

Winter and some visitors

Even though I complain about it, winter is quite beautiful here at the north pole. I've been feeding the neighborhood birds since last summer. They are kind of shy, so I have to spy on them...but I always find their little cute foot steps all over my balcony. Despite all the snow and the cold weather there's still life outside.
