Chita Collection

Inspired by a kind of traditional fabric of Brazil called chita or chitão. Chita is a part of our cultural identity, and I love the bold mix of colors and flowers.

The Art and Business of Surface Pattern Design graduate!

Now I'm a graduate from ABSPD. It was of great value for me, both creatively and  also concerning the business side of being a pattern designer. One of the best things of doing this e-course is connecting with a lot of designers and share information, thoughts, feelings and so on. We now have a very supportive group that is constantly in touch. Below I would like to share one of my patterns and also the work of some of my fellow designers. Now it's time to go for it!

 That's mine!

The Art and Business of Surface Pattern Design

Last week I began module 2 of The Art and Business of Surface Pattern Design, an e-course featuring Rachael Taylor, an amazing British surface pattern designer. Module 1 was great and module 2 has been even better! It's the first time I take an e-course and so far it has been amazing, I've been sketching a lot, making patterns and collections and sharing thoughts and experiences with a lot of great people from all over the globe. I feel more creative and happy about my work. I'm sharing with you some of the designs I've done so far. I still have a long way to go, and I can't wait to keep going!
